IIFX and Campus Safety to Host Virtual Interscholastic Athletics Summit

May 18, 2021, Jackson, Mississippi – On Wednesday, June 16, 2021 the Innovation Institute for Fan Experience (IIFX) and Campus Safety will host a National, complimentary, one-day, virtual summit that anyone involved in interscholastic athletics or after school activities will want to attend. The title of the summit is “Preparing for the Return of Interscholastic Athletics & After School Activities.”

IIFX is offering the summit as a complimentary service to anyone in the industry who can benefit as a part of IIFX’s mission to “build and support a global alliance of thought leaders and stakeholders centered around safety, security, and the services that contribute to the ideal fan experience.” The one-day virtual event will feature a knowledgable and experienced lineup of  professionals ranging from high school athletic directors, safety and security professionals in interscholastic athletics, counselors, physicians, superintendents and other leaders preparing to return to interscholastic athletics and after school activities this fall. “The Summit agenda brings together nationwide thought leaders, decision-makers and innovators to address critical issues for reopening school events this fall,” said Dr. Lou Marciani, director and co-founder of IIFX and former director of the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4).

According to Dr. Marciani, these leading practitioners will address the most pressing challenges and will provide first-hand observations and best practices advice. The event is open and complimentary to anyone who can benefit from the knowledge that will be shared. All summit topics underscore key strategies for a safe return, what we’ve learned from the pandemic, building strong partnerships, health safety plans and protocols, mental health, and building trust and confidence with the community, administration, staff, and students.
