Athletic Director, Biloxi High School - Biloxi, Mississippi
Coach Tom Gladney is completing his 12th year as Athletic Director at Biloxi Public Schools. After coaching for 30 years – 20 at Mississippi College and 10 years at Midway HS in Waco, TX, Gladney returned to Mississippi in the summer of 2009 to become the Athletic Director at Biloxi Public Schools.
In the past 12 years, the Indians have enjoyed great success on the athletic fields producing 60 District Championships which includes JHS, 9th, & Varsity Championships over the years. This also includes three Championships in the abbreviated 2019-2020 school year and five Championships in this year’s 2020-2021 pandemic school year.
This 2020-2021 school year, there have been 21 student-athletes who signed some form of a scholarship to attend college and continue their athletic careers this next fall. These student-athletes represented several sports – Baseball, Boys’ Basketball, Dance, FP Softball, Football, Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer, & Volleyball.
Gladney and his wife, Cindy, have been married for 36 years and have two grown daughters – Hope Gladney, who is an Elementary Teacher in New Orleans, and Monica Lee Gladney-White (Bryan), who is a Physical Therapist in Houston, TX.
