SPORTING EVENT FAN CAPACITY LEVELS
Following the CDC’s updated guidance that fully vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear masks or practice social distancing in most situations, sports venues are updating their attendance rules. Here’s the latest capacity updates for leagues that are in-season or holding postseason tournaments.

*California recommends verifying the vaccination status of individuals attending “mega events,” classified as either indoor gatherings with 5,000+ attendees or outdoor events with 10,000+ patrons. So far, none of California’s MLB teams have said that they will require vaccination verification for all fans. Some are offering fully vaccinated sections, though, and fans must verify their vaccination status to sit in those.
