Where We Started...
On 17 and 18 November 2020, IIFX proudly hosted its first major event, the International Virtual Conference and Expo, Innovative Pathway to the Sports and Entertainment Industries “New Normal”. We brought together an impressive array of diverse sports and entertainment industry professionals and organizations focusing on the common challenge of adapting and innovating health safety, security, operations, and management into a possible new fan experience and management paradigm.
From April 2020 – February 2022, IIFX created content for COVID Tech Playbook, hosted by our Medical Advisory Board, We have added Tech Talks with our Xperience Consortium members and other technology companies. This series continues today.
Where We are Now
We hosted events in March and May 2021 focused on Preparing for the Return of Fans and Preparing for the Return of Interscholastic Athletics and Afterschool Activities.
We hosted our first international conference in May 2022 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas; more than 225 people participated in our inaugural event: FANCENTRIC, The Newest Sports & Entertainment Conference – Focused on the Fan Experience. Our theme was Bold Changes Driving Sports and Entertainment Forward.
We have aligned our conference with the Association of Luxury Suite Directors (ALSD), participating in their 33rd Annual Conference & Tradeshow in Indianapolis, IN. Check in with us often to engage in conversations with other sports and entertainment industry about health, safety, security, service, COVID-19 best practices, the future of the fan experience, and a path forward to return to work, play, and spectate in 2021.
Connect the world’s sports and entertainment health safety, security and fan experience professionals. Through the speaker series, town halls, technology showcases, will facilitate communications, coordination and cooperation among the international community as we have an opportunity to share ideas and best practices from their individual and collective experience, lifelong knowledge, and wisdom gained from real-world events and incidents.
