Paul Turner, CVE, CSSP is a 30-year veteran of the in the venue and event management industry. He has held positions with the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Portland Trailblazers, Theatre Projects Consultants and the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. He is an instructor and former chair of the Academy for Venue Safety and Security (AVSS) and currently serves as a faculty member and 1st Chair Elect of the Venue Management School. Paul is a member of the National Advisory Board for the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) and is a Founding Distinguished Fellow for the Innovation Institute for Fan Experience (IIFX). Paul is well known for developing industry standards and practices for customer service, event management, security and venue operations. He has created many training and development programs and has presented at industry conferences in the United States, Northern Ireland, Germany, Australia and the Middle East.
