Mark started the Security Media Group in 2005 as founding publisher of Security magazine and media brand and The Security 500 and a managing partner of Securing New Ground. He also served as publisher of SDM. He wrote the leading “Trends” column and the annual Security 500 Report for over a decade.
Since selling the brands and pivoting from being a researcher, writer, and publisher to a technology business leader who continues to contribute to strategy and planning, business development, sales, marketing & advertising, and operations for companies including Viakoo and Cobalt Robotics.
He continues as a frequent speaker and writer and advisor. His work with non-profit organizations includes The Security Industry Association, The Return to Work, Play, and Spectate Task Force and Mission 500.
