Judy is the Director of Risk Management & Environmental Safety for the Perris Union High School District located in Southern California. Judy is a very dynamic and hands on leader in the field of K-12 risk management, emergency preparedness and response. She serves on several Boards of Directors for Joint Powers Authorities in Workers Compensation, Property and Liability and Employee Health Benefits. Judy has a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Health & Safety with a concentration in Environmental Management from the Columbia Southern University and holds the Associate Risk Management designation for Public Entities (ARM-P), as well as the Certified School Risk Management designation (CSRM) from The National Alliance for Education and Research. Judy is also an instructor for the CSRM program, she enjoys sharing what she has learned with others and is passionate about promoting a “culture of safety” through collaboration and partnerships.
