Dr. Jeffrey Sullivan is currently the Director of Systemwide Athletics for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), administering the interscholastic athletics program comprised of 25 high schools and 40 middle schools for the 14^th largest school district in the country and largest in Maryland. Dr. Sullivan is also active at the state level, serving the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA) as a member of the Executive Council, Classification Committee, Appeals Committee, and is the director for the state boys’ basketball tournament. He is also a Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA) through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) and earned his doctorate in educational leadership and policy studies from Howard University. Dr. Sullivan is a two-time recipient of the District Athletic Director of the Year Award from the Maryland State Athletic Directors Association (2012 and 2007) and recipient of the 2021 NIAAA State Award of Merit.
