Mark Briggs is a Senior Vice President responsible for new technologies that will allow sports and entertainment venues to reopen in a safe and secure manner during COVID-19. Mark developed the gold standard security and front of house operations at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution. He was responsible for security, safety and guest services operations that included hundreds of stadium concerts, MLS and International soccer matches, 17 NFL seasons, 8 Super Bowls, New England Patriot training camps, as well as hundreds of stadium trade shows and conferences that took place at Gillette Stadium. Mark draws on his extensive military operations and intelligence experiences in the British Army (Awarded British Empire Medal) to advise the NFL and MLS on security processes. Mark has provided a wide range of international consulting and operations services including the Sydney, London, and Rio Olympic Games; Brazil 2014 World Cup; and the inaugural Baku European Games.
Mark was instrumental in Gillette Stadium, Patriot Place, NE Patriots and NE Revolution being awarded the DHS Safety Act Certification. At the time of award, the only sporting venue to achieve this accolade without using contracted advisors or consultants.
Mark helped the Broadstone Group in building their presence within the United States. Mark successfully won NFL contracts to provide security services in London and Mexico City for their International series and the Super Bowl in Miami in February 2020.
Mark has also consulted with Live Nation Entertainment to develop and deliver front line security officer training and provide third party security vulnerability assessments at identified high profile venues within the United States.
Mark was the Co-chair to the Massachusetts Task Force for Large Venue Security. Submitting the final report to the Governor in 2019
