Vice President of Security and Safety Services at MetLife Stadium

Daniel DeLorenzi is the Vice President of Security and Safety Services at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Mr. DeLorenzi has experience as a senior law enforcement official, private security director and security consultant. He has been responsible the successful implementation of a wide variety of security protocols, security systems, evacuation planning, counter –terrorism procedures, fire safety, crowd management, and incident reporting and analysis as they relate to the protection of large venues.

 

Daniel DeLorenzi is a former Deputy Chief of Police of the Newark, NJ Police Department and has an extensive knowledge of Police, Fire and EMS operations. During his career with the Newark Police Department, Mr. DeLorenzi obtained every rank of the Police Department with increasing responsibility including the Chief of Internal Affairs and the Chief of Operations. He is also an active member of the Cedar Grove, NJ Fire Department.

 

Mr. DeLorenzi holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University and a Masters of Arts from Seton Hall University in Human Resources Training & Development. He is extensively trained in DHS/FEMA courses including the Incident Command System, Hazardous Materials Response, Radiological Emergency Management, Counter Terrorism and Emergency Response to Terrorism, and Sports and Special Events Evacuations.
