Liam began his career in the Royal Air Force Police where he served for 9 years.
His current profession in the entertainment industry followed that, starting as a part-time steward for Showsec International at Manchester Arena before joining the full-time staff at the arena working his way up from a security control room operator, through customer services and finally finding his niche as an Event Manger.
Liam remained at the arena for 5 years and then took the decision to jump the fence and join the music promoters’ stables working for Denis Arnold at 3A for a year in London before returning to Manchester to work for SJM Concerts for a further 13 years. In that time Liam helped organise numerous UK arena and stadium tours such as Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Kate Bush, Foo Fighters, Oasis and Take That, to name a few. He was also one of the key organisers for V festival for many years.
He finally returned to venues in 2015 and is currently the Stadium Director for one of the most iconic stadiums in the world, Wembley Stadium, overseeing all elements of stadium operations and event delivery requirements.
