IIFX LEARNING HUB™
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND CERTIFICATION OPPORTUNITIES
COMING IN Q3 IN 2021
IIFX Learning Hub Provides Professional Development and Certification Opportunities
There is a growing demand for innovative and engaging professional development programs. The training programs offered will use classroom, in-situ/on-site, asynchronous, and synchronous training offerings that employ innovative teaching practices, including learning in the round, a model that uses experts and practitioners, guided by a learning facilitator, to engage and rapidly expand the knowledge of course participants.
The learning in the round model allows all to switch roles so that participants become the experts and the experts become the participants. This model leverages the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience of all to create an engaging program that enables participants to translate new knowledge into action.
THE IIFX LEARNING HUB™ WILL PROVIDE SKILLS, COMPETENCY, AND CAPACITY AND CAPABILITY COURSES THAT ARE RELEVANT TO THE SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY.
Completing training programs – whether micro- or full lessons, or multiple lessons, or an entire course – can provide participants transportable digital credentials affirming successful course completion and certification. Organizations issue certifications to recognize individuals for meeting established criteria for acquiring advanced knowledge and skills, while individuals seek certifications to upskill or to enhance their personal brand.
Most certification programs provide a construct for voluntary self-regulation, or in the case of mandated certification programs, the organization issuing the certification may require course completion for advancement, to practice, or to deliver services. Organizations issuing certifications may require recurring training or periodic recertification to ensure the practitioners remain current. Certification differs from licensure because there are generally no governmental penalties for not being certified to do something or if the certification lapses.

DIGITAL BADGES & CERTIFICATIONS
The IIFX Learning Hub™ will be able to grant digital badges to anyone successfully completing all requirements for an individual course or program. These digital badges are transportable and verifiable, meaning they can be affixed to emails, social media accounts like LinkedIn, on digital business cards, a resume or curriculum vitae, or via a QR code. Employers, academic institutions, professional contacts, and others can instantly verify certifications to ensure they are awarded, their industry value, and whether the certification is current.
According to Credly.com, there are more than 42 million people who have digital certificates or credentials. In a world shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic, digital certifications are set for exponential growth. The IIFX Learning Hub™ will be postured to help practitioners in almost any vertical with their professional development.
